Chris Casey is Senior Vice President, Consumer Strategy and Global Innovation Leader, at Nielsen. He has responsibility for Nielsen’s strategy to help manufacturing and retail clients drive profitable growth. He also leads Nielsen’s global Innovation Practice, with a specific focus on helping Nielsen’s clients improve the performance of their new product development and activation activities.

Previously, Chris was a management consultant for twenty years.  Most recently he was a Principal with The Cambridge Group. Chris’ client relationships focused on corporate and business-level growth strategies, market activation planning, and growth capability development programs. His work focused on growth across a range of industries, including food and beverage manufacturing, food and mass merchandise retail, chemicals, building products, financial services, professional services, and telecommunications. Prior to The Cambridge Group, Chris held leadership positions at Monitor Group and at A.T. Kearney.  

Chris received his Master of Management degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he was an F.C. Austin Scholar.  He earned his undergraduate degree for Middlebury College, where he graduated cum laude with high honors in economics.

Barry Calpino,

Barry is Vice President of Innovation at Kraft Foods, leading the Innovation Center of Excellence for all of Kraft.  Barry oversees the Corporate Breakthrough Innovation group and is on the Kraft North America Leadership team, leading Innovation across all of North America.  Barry has been at Kraft since 2009.

Barry has over 17 years of CPG Brand Marketing experience, with 13 of those years spent mostly or entirely focused on leading Innovation.  CPG Companies he has worked for include HJ Heinz, SC Johnson for nearly 10 years, Kellogg's and Wrigley, where he led all innovation for North America just prior to joining Kraft Foods.

Barry has an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Marquette and his MBA from Kellogg.  Prior to entering the CPG world, Barry spent 6 years at Illinois Bell and Ameritech in a series of Advertising and Research roles. Barry is originally from Chicago and resides there today.  He is married and has 3 children – ages 18, 12 and 8.
